Step 2. Select your recording area, audio and output quality/format, adjust your settings and change your save path if you want to, and then click Start (Shortcut key--Alt+F1).

Step 3. Click the Pause or Stop icon on the floating window or the recording page to suspend or end and save your recording. (Shortcut key: Pause/Resume--Alt+F1, Stop--Alt+F3)

Step 4. Choose the next-step operation when your recording finishes.

2. Video Splitter: How to split a video in Windows?

Step 1. Click Video Splitter on the right menu.

Step 2. Hit Click or drag to add file to import your video and then change your output directory if you like.

Step 3. Split the video.
Move the white arrow on the green progress bar to locate the end time or the two white sliders to determine the start and end time.
Adjust your settings: video cropping, aspect ratio, flipping and rotation.
Press Add clip to list to save your splitted clip(s).
Click Export to get your clips.
